Shepparton received a steady shower of rain throughout yesterday.
At 5pm, the Bureau of Meteorology had recorded 8.4mm of rain, less than the 10mm to 25mm predicted.
The severe weather warnings for damaging winds reaching peak gusts of about 100km/h did not eventuate either.
The highest the gusts reached were 32km/h, about 6am yesterday.
The News’ Rodney Braithwaite was out and about in the drizzling rain, with falls steady enough for Shepparton residents to pull out of the umbrellas.
