By Shepparton News

Emergency services were called to a collision last night involving a truck and a tractor in Waaia.

It is believed a tractor and a B-double truck collided on the Katamatite-Nathalia Rd just after 8.30pm.

Three CFA units from Nathalia and Waaia attended the scene to assist in a wash away due to fuel leaking from the vehicles.

State Emergency Service and Police also attended with the road blocked to traffic for a number of hours while the debris was cleared.

Paramedics were called to treat three people at the scene who were later transported to Gouburn Valley Health.

A man in his 70's was in a stable condition with suspected back injuries, a man in his 50's was in a stable condition with injuries to his chest and ribs, and a woman in her 40's was in a stable condition with injuries to her chest and hip.

A CFA Media spokeswoman said the tractor was completely destroyed during the collision.
