"Because patients are at the centre of everything we do here at GV Health we want to allow them to get well and back on their feet as soon as possible," a GV Health spokesperson said.
"You can help us too by not visiting when you yourself do not feel 100 per cent."
The symptoms to look out for include a cough (new or worsening), sore throat, shortness of breath, a fever, malaise (general feeling of being ill or having no energy, or an uncomfortable feeling that something is wrong), a headache or myalgia (muscle pain)
"If you are feeling any of these symptoms it may be worth staying home and taking care of yourself until they have passed," the spokesperson said.
"If your symptoms get worse or continue please visit your local GP."
