The impounded horses include taffy pony Carrie and her foal, Spots, an appaloosa stallion, Cindy, a standardbred mare, and gelding Apache.
If the horses are not claimed by their owner/s, the shelter will offer each horse for individual public tender.
Sweet Carrie and her foal will need some extra encouragement and handling from a loving owner and Spots loves a good scratch behind his ears.
Cindy is a quiet dark bay standardbred mare and Apache is a beautiful paint gelding with amazing grey markings.
Spots, Cindy and Apache are easy to catch, handle and transport and love apples.
The ideal home will be with someone who has the time and space to let them thrive, ideally as a group.
Individual homes will be considered for Spots, Cindy and Apache.
Carrie will be rehomed with her foal only.
All horses and ponies will be rehomed by public tender.
Written tender applications are required to be submitted to council by 5pm, next Friday, April 26.
