The Shepparton Police Divisional Tasking Unit, Crime Investigation Unit and Dookie police officer Simon Hutchings visited the two properties belonging to relatives, a 39-year-old male and a 65-year-old male.
One cannabis plant was found in the 65 year old’s home and 1.36 kilograms of dried cannabis prepared for sale was located at the 39 years old’s home.
First Constable Anna McCallum said the men were arrested on scene, before being charged and bailed at Shepparton Police Station.
Police said the warrant was initiated through community tip-offs and crime stoppers reports.
First Const McCallum said it was a good outcome, ensuring our whole region feels safe and protected.
The two men will appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in June.
