Ten months after launching with much fanfare, Oliver’s Real Food has suddenly closed.
The former KFC site, which was repurposed and opened on May 3 last year, was gutted at the weekend, with all signage and fixtures removed.
Shares in the food chain have crashed in recent weeks, with chief executive Greg Madigan suddenly resigning last week after only 10 months in the role.
Board chairman Mark Richardson reportedly resigned four days earlier.
In January, shares in the franchise dropped 55 per cent following a profit downgrade.
