Dookie residents to have a say next month

Dookie residents have a chance to discuss ideas and issues with Greater Shepparton City Council chief executive Peter Harriott and Mayor Kim O’Keeffe at sit-down sessions in the town’s cafe next month.

Cr O’Keeffe encouraged residents to attend the session and discuss their topics directly.

‘‘I hope to see community members take up this opportunity to meet with the CEO and myself to talk about their ideas or issues one on one. I look forward to meeting with residents in their town,’’ Cr O’Keeffe said.

The sessions will be held on Friday, March 1, at the cafe Dookie Emporium, 48 Mary St, Dookie.

Meetings are available by appointment in 30-minute slots between 9am and noon.

To make an appointment, contact the chief executive officer’s and mayor’s office on 58329445 and provide an outline of a discussion topic.

Bookings must be made at least three days prior to the relevant session.
