Men’s health and wellbeing is on the agenda this month, as Primary Care Connect and Goulburn Valley Health welcome AFL legend Kevin Sheedy for their Legend Talks Health event.
The heath service providers will be sharing their knowledge, providing information and creating conversation.
Guest speaker Sheedy will discuss thinking ‘‘outside the square’’, the value of looking after and caring for your mates, sharing feelings, keeping the lines of communication open when it comes to physical, mental and emotional support.
The AFL legend is no stranger to the Goulburn Valley, frequently visiting for a range of speaking roles in sporting and men’s health capacities.
Sheedy was a keynote speaker at the 2016 Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch and GV BRaIN event in 2013.
A player and coach for more than five decades, Sheedy has the record of involvement in 1000 AFL games including eight premierships.
Legend Talks Health is on Friday, July 20, from 6pm at The Woolshed, 7719 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla.
Canapes will be available on arrival, as well as a main-course meal and tea and coffee.
Further drinks are available at bar prices.
Tickets cost $30 per person, plus GST and a booking fee.
