Come along and enjoy the Paddock to Plate Autumn Feast on Sunday.
FamilyCare chief executive David Tennant said the new event replaced the annual charity golf day.
‘‘Hosting a round of golf for our supporters has been fabulous and has raised an enormous amount of money for FamilyCare’s programs over many years,’’ he said.
‘‘Our fundraising committee wanted to do something different and we are really excited to announce the Paddock to Plate Autumn Feast.’’
On at The Woolshed at Emerald Bank in Kialla, guests will get a taste of the region as they wander through the outdoor spaces showcasing a selection of local food and beverages before settling in to enjoy a feast full of fresh autumn ingredients.
Angela Mangiameli and the team from The Woolshed will produce a three-course long lunch with the help of SBS’ Gourmet Farmer’s Matthew Evans.
Mr Evans is a chef by trade and an advocate for sustainable seafood, with a strong belief in knowing and trusting what you eat.
Money raised will go towards buying a wheelchair-accessible commuter bus for use at FamilyCare’s Into Rec Program for children and young people.
The Paddock to Plate Autumn Feast is on Sunday from 11am to 4pm at The Woolshed at Emerald Bank, 7719 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla.
Tickets cost $165 a person, all inclusive.
