The lawns and gardens surrounding St Augustine’s Church in Shepparton are in pristine condition this spring, eagerly awaiting the annual parish fair and garden party on Saturday, October 20.
Parish fair co-ordinator Pat Gibson said the event would include 24 stalls as well as a garage sale offering manchester, toys, cakes, plants and more.
Family fun is a priority, with a jumping castle, face painting and other children’s activities taking place.
Held on the lawns around the church on Maude St and inside the parish hall on Orr St, visitors will also have the chance to enjoy a barbecue breakfast and lunch, Devonshire tea, gourmet lunch and delicious desserts.
A Goulburn Valley Quilters exhibition will be on display from 8am to noon and a concert will entertain crowds from 1.30pm.
The annual parish fair helps raise funds for the church and provides an opportunity for community members to gather.
The St Augustine’s Church parish fair and garden party is on Saturday, October 20, from 8am to 3.15pm at 95 Maude St, Shepparton.
