POLICE are appealing for help to find Kyabram man Christopher Abbott.

A warrant has been issued for the 29-year-old’s arrest for assault-related offences. Abbott is known to visit the Echuca, Kyabram and Campaspe areas. He is about 180cm tall with a thin build, olive skin and short dark hair. Investigators have released an image of Abbott and the truck he may be travelling in, in the hope someone may have information on his whereabouts. Rider flees police

Police are appealing for help after a person riding an unregistered KTM motorbike fled the scene when he was caught speeding through the school zone on Edis St in Kyabram last Wednesday. The motorbike was later located on Rodgers St and the rider was seen jumping nearby fences. Anyone with any information should phone Constable Mitchell Bull at Kyabram Police Station on 58531777.

School zone hoon

Police caught a woman driving 82km/h in St Augustine’s P-12 College’s school zone on McCormick Road, Kyabram last Wednesday. The woman, who was from Echuca, had her driver’s licence suspended for six months and received a $604 fine.
