IT’S beginning to feel a lot like Christmas after Santa parked his sleigh on top of the Heathcote Visitor Centre.
The festive cheer is taking over town with a range of Christmas events on the horizon.
December 7 will see a visit from the little Christmas elf at the Heathcote Library. One of Santa’s helpers is coming to Heathcote Library and she needs help from children under the age of 5. Come and help Candy track down the missing Christmas carols. The mission starts at 9.30am.
Christmas dinner is on at the Heathcote RSL on December 15. The night begins at 6pm and the ticket price includes dinner, dessert, raffles, bar and door prizes and live music featuring Tony Gill. Barrack reserve will be alive with the sound of music on December 15 as the Lions Club present Christmas carols in the park. The evening features the Marist Brass Band and Santa is rumoured to be making an appearance. It’s on from 7pm.
