Loads of school holiday fun

There are plenty of chances to ‘Get Mooving’ these school holidays, with Activities in the Park held throughout Greater Shepparton almost every day.
From African drumming to circus skills, there’s something for everyone.
Presented by Greater Shepparton City Council, sessions are all delivered by local facilitators including sports clubs, businesses, community groups and state sporting associations.

AFRICAN DRUMMING
In the Maude St Mall on Friday, October 5 from 11am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 2.30pm; free of charge
Join the team from African Drumming for 90 minutes of interactive drumming, singing and dancing.
Work on creating a traditional African percussion ensemble using djembe drums, a range of bass drums and lots of shakers.

BREAKFAST WITH THE BIRDS
At Reedy Swamp on Thursday, September 27 from 8am to 10am; free of charge.
RiverConnect and Birdlife Murray Goulburn present Breakfast with the Birds.
Birdlife Murray Goulburn members will take you on an avian adventure, identifying the amazing variety of birds that frequent our beautiful area.

CIRCUS SKILLS
At Murchison Youth Spot on Friday, October 5 from 10am to 11.30am; free of charge.
Join Enchanted Rainbow for a variety of circus-themed activities.
Learn plate spinning, hoops, poi, juggling and bucket stilts.

DEADZTOWN
At SPC KidsTown on Thursday, September 27 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and Friday, September 28 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm; $5 entry.

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CLUB
At Aquamoves on Tuesday, October 2 from 5.45pm to 6.45pm; free of charge.
Aquamoves’ Junior Lifeguard Club is a great way for children who love the water to grow their confidence, improve fitness and build on valuable lifesaving skills and knowledge.
The club offers a social and seriously fun environment and there is also a focus on stroke improvement.
POT PLANT DECORATING
At Judd Park in Merrigum on Friday, September 28 from 10am to 11.30am; free of charge.
At Colaura Gardens in Toolamba on Monday, October 1 from 10am to 11.30am; free of charge.
Join Enchanted Rainbow for some decorating fun.
Create your own colourful pot plant and plant your very own sunflower.

SUPERHERO POOL PARTY
At Aquamoves on Tuesday, September 25 from 10am to 2pm; pool entry costs apply.
Enjoy music by the pool at Aquamoves and all your favourite activities including giant torpedo, topple inflatable, rapid river, waterslide and tarzan swing.
Kids come dressed as your favourite superhero. The best-dressed will win a three-month Aquamoves pool membership valued at $128.
TAEKWONDO FUN FITNESS DRILLS
At Victoria Park Lake northern foreshore on Sunday, October 7 from 10am to 11am; free of charge.
Join GV Functional Fitness and Koryo Taekwondo Centre for a fun basic taekwondo session.
