Rekindling with friends

Traffik Boutique — Lisa Kerr (fashion consultant/retail trainer):

1. What do you enjoy most about Greater Shepparton?

I have recently relocated back to the area after living on the Sunshine Coast for 2 years.

I was apprehensive about the move back, however, it’s been nothing but amazing.

Shepparton has embraced and supported me and it’s been great to rekindle with friends and acquaintances in the area.

2. What is your favourite thing to do in Greater Shepparton?

I am currently content spending time with family and friends and enjoying yummy brunches and dinners at local cafes and restaurants.

3. Why is Greater Shepparton a great place for young people to grow up?

I believe Shepparton is a great place to grow up because it’s small enough in the sense of a tight community, however also large and diverse enough to allow young people some of the experiences that they will encounter if moving on to larger cities.

The Community Fund Goulburn Valley is calling on young people aged 15 to 25 who live, work or study in Greater Shepparton to enter this year’s #ShepPROUD competition.

Entrants need to upload a video, up to three minutes long, on YouTube which showcases what they love about Shepparton.

The competition closes at noon Friday, July 20. For information and terms and conditions, visit www.thecommunityfund.com.au
