Excitement grows for Bourchier St fete

By Laura Briggs

An evening of fun draws near for the Shepparton community.

Shepparton’s Bourchier Street Primary School will host its fete on Thursday, November 1.

The school’s community liaison officer Denise Whyte said students and teachers were thrilled to put on an event full of entertainment and excitement for the whole family.

‘‘We intend on having a fantastic fete full of a lot of fun for the kids with plenty of entertainment.’’

She said the event would include various games and activities including jumping castles, show bags, face painting, camel rides, bucking bulls and fairy floss — to name just a few.

Ms Whyte said school staff were delighted to have received excellent support from a number of Shepparton businesses, making this year’s fete bigger and better.

‘‘All the community is invited, it’s not just for Bourchier Street families,’’ Ms Whyte said.

The fete will be held on Bourchier Street Primary School’s main oval from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, November 1.
