Students from St Brendan’s Primary School in Shepparton have showcased their science projects at a Living Organisms Science Exposition.
St Brendan’s Inquiry Learning teacher Leanne Pellegrino said the exposition, held at the school on Thursday, saw Years 3 and 4 students present projects they had created in response to the question ‘How is it living?’
‘‘The students have used a range of resources to do their own investigations into the science behind their living organism,’’ she said.
Ms Pellegrino said the students were introduced to the five kingdoms of living organisms through models, educational video clips and books.
She said after learning and gaining inspiration, the students then chose a living organism from their preferred kingdom to begin their own investigations and produce a project to present to parents and students.
