Shepparton and Mooroopna residents are being encouraged to attend a Shepparton Education Plan community workshop tomorrow.
The plan will see Shepparton High School become the site of a new super school, merging Greater Shepparton’s four public secondary schools into one.
The Department of Education and Training is seeking feedback from the community about the new design for the school.
‘‘We are delivering a great new secondary school for Shepparton as part of a plan to transform education in the town,’’ a department spokesperson said.
‘‘The Mooroopna and Shepparton communities are invited to have their say on the design of the new school during workshops on Thursday.’’
Residents are invited to attend one of two workshops and share feedback on the proposed design.
Community members are also encouraged to fill out an online survey which asks them to share their hopes for the new school, along with outlining needs for students and the facilities available.
* The Mooroopna community workshop will be held from 1pm to 3pm tomorrow at the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre, 23 Alexandra St, Mooroopna.
The Shepparton community workshop is from 6pm to 8pm tomorrow at Shepparton High School, 31-71 Hawdon St, Shepparton.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend; light refreshments will be provided.
