The club hosted a challenge match against Deniliquin over the past week, with the visitors taking home the trophy which they’ll hold for 12 months.
Overall Deni finished only eight points in front of Echuca Moama and we are already looking forward to the rematch.
The weather was perfect for a good day out on the lawns with everyone playing four games.
Sandra Alstin was named the winner after winning all four of her games.
Jump shots were made by Jill Graham, Sandra Alstin, Trevor Peters and Mary James from Deni, while Meagan Tonga scored a hoop in one.
On Monday, our members didn’t get off to a good start with a very cold and frosty morning.
When the frost cleared it turned out to be quite a nice day and everyone was happy to get on and play.
Jump shots were won by Beryl Ash and Sandra Alstin with one each and Trevor Peters with two.
Hoops in one were scored by Jill Graham and Elayne Pickthall.
Overall winner on the day was Jeff Pumpa with three games + 13, ahead of Trevor Peters +10 and right on their tails was John Graham with +9.
