The players return to the track next Tuesday at 6pm at the Hardinge St oval and will train each Tuesday and Thursday.
Rams co-coach Sam Hall said all past, present and prospective players are welcome.
He also said with next week’s weather expected to top the 40 degree mark players can expect a “pretty light week” on the track.
“We’re aware that it’s going to be hot so we’ll take it pretty easy and ease blokes back into it. We’ll most likely incorporate a swim in the river as well.
“We just want blokes to get there from day one and commit to the pre-season no matter what level of fitness they’re at.”
The club has also locked in its pre-season practice matches and a training camp.
“We’ll hold an overnight training camp on Friday, February 1 where we’ll train for a couple of hours that night and a couple of hours in the morning; these camps are always a bit of fun and good for team bonding,” Hall said.
The club has four practice matches as follows: Saturday, March 2 v Doveton in Deni; Thursday, March 7 v Blighty in Deni; Saturday, March 16 v Barham in Barham; Saturday, March 23 v Billabong Crows in Deni.
