Edward Public School students in the Year 3 Jumping Jellybeans and Year 4 to 6 Demonstration team treated a large crowd of parents, students and teachers to a skipping show as part of the Jump Rope for Heart day.

The teams practised for five weeks leading up to the event — which took place on the last day of the term — and teachers say they have seen a huge improvement in their fitness.
The students showed off long and short rope skipping and tricks and relay skipping.
Jump Rope for Heart is a fun physical activity program for schools to keeps kids healthy while raising funds to fight heart disease.
