Tough game and even with only a 2 goal difference at quarter tie and 4 at half time it was anybody’s game.
Chloe and Rachel working exceptionally well in goals and once again Erica and Emily were holding in the defence.
At half time they realized they had the height advantage in goals and then put the ball over the heads of or smaller defenders which was then the telling factor.

After another slow start and giving away a 3 goal advantage before we were on the board it took a while to settle into the play.
However at one stage in the second we were down by 4 but 2 valuable intercepts by Alyce narrowed it to 2 then level.
From then on we stepped up the tempo to come away with the win.

The Power girls really stepped up to the Lions on the court.
They worked perfectly as a team down the whole court and played the best game anyone could have asked for.
The pressure applied down the whole court resulted in a great deal of turnovers which lead to our second win for the season.
Go Power!
