March saw the Corowa Anglers Club hold their annual bowls day. The day they use to raise funds to help restock native fish in our beautiful river.

As usual, it was a great day with 12 teams entered. Always room for a couple of more next year. This year’s winners seem to be making a habit of it.
1st place: Darren Stewart, Jamieson Stewart, Lewis McCrum, Kade Davis.
2nd place: Alan Norman, Geoff NIxon, Jim Hickey, Dave Hewson.
3rd place: Trevor Maclean, Tracey Macartney, Rod Dunstan, Lee Nelson.
This day would not be possible without all of our generous sponsors.

The club were able to release 10,000 Yellow Belly fingerlings into the water system just out of Corowa on April 9. Thank you to all the members that helped with the release.
Plenty of fish still on the bite taking bait and lures. From the bank or in the boat, so get out there while the weather is inviting.
