Tocumwal Golf Club women visited Cobram-Barooga Golf Club to play in the annual River Murray Challenge between the two clubs.
The challenge was held as a pink day, raising money for breast cancer. The course was awash with pink, not only pink outfits but course superintendent Matt McLeod joined in the spirit of the occasion by providing pink cups, white flags with the breast cancer symbol on them, pink lady tee markers and pink woman painted around tees and greens.
A raffle was held, which raised more than $400, with raffle prizes donated by businesses from town and the major prize, a crocheted rug, was made by Gai Mitchelson.
Cobram-Barooga won the challenge but more importantly everyone enjoyed socialising with members from another club.
