Cobram-Barooga Golf Club belongs to Kerri Wilkie and, if you are lucky, you might get to play on her course.
During the season, there little Wilkie was not able to do at the club.
She started the season by claiming the singles knockout, beating anyone who dared to take her on in the tournament.
She then teamed up with Sue Herbison to win the pairs knockout.
From there, Wilkie partnered with Jenny Tom to win the 27-hole foursomes nett event.
Not a bad start, but by no means was she done.
She claimed the E.F Nethersole Trophy and completed her domination of the club by claiming the Golfer of the Year award, donated by Terry Mentha.
At the club’s presentation day, Wilkie walked away with a haul of silverware.
In the end, there was just one trophy which she did not win, the Mary Gemmell Trophy, sponsored by Robyn Jackson, ending up with Liz Jewell.
Wilkie also played a key role in claiming the division five pennant with her team, adding yet another line to her season’s golfing resume.
The presentation of the clubs trophies was followed by the annual general meeting, with key roles for the club decided for the new season of golf.
Fran Thatcher was elected president, while Helen Hall remains as captain.
