Helping people Be Connected

Be Connected is an Australia-wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world.

The free program is aimed at people 50 and over and offers support and resources to help people develop digital skills and confidence.

Cobram Community House is a Be Connected partner and provides weekly sessions to help community members develop their skills and confidence.

Participants will find a welcoming smile, a relaxed cup of tea or coffee and genuine enthusiasm for helping them gain the confidence to use and enjoy their personal technology.

The program offers free support to people who want to:

●learn the basics of getting online;

●learn to be safe while online;

●learn how to use the internet; and

●build confidence in using digital technology.

The program runs Thursdays from 10am to noon and Fridays from 1pm to 3pm.

Cobram Community House is also running pop-up shops at local businesses.

Call in and speak to the team . They will buy you a coffee and show you what the program is all about.

Sessions are on at Cobram Bakery, High St, today from 10am to noon, Cobram Hotel (Top Pub) on Wednesday, July 24, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm Cobram Community House on Friday, July 26, from 1pm to 3pm.
