Tomorrow Today’s Sally Matheson, who is coordinating the workshops, encourages all local youngsters aged 11 to 16 to get involved.
‘‘The workshops will feature a range of exciting and challenging tasks that will help kids ‘think outside the square’,’’ Ms Matheson said.
‘‘This is a terrific opportunity for young people to have fun while developing team work, communication, problem-solving and self-reflection skills.’’
The three-hour workshops will help young people develop skills that will be useful at school and in future work.
There will be a morning and afternoon workshop on Tuesday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 3.
Tomorrow Today is offering the workshops in partnership with PGT — People Groups Teams, an Australian leader in running programs for young people. PGT’s activities aim to empower and inspire participants.
●If you know of a young person aged between 11 to 16 years living in Benalla who would be interested in participating in these workshops, phone education benalla program manager Sally Matheson on 57621211.
