Over the next three weeks, local artists will perform at Riverlinks Eastbank as part of the Word and Mouth Live series of online concerts.
Monday sees Shepparton district performers Robert Baxter, Bodhi Hawken and Celeste Cari in the spotlight.
Robert is a singer, dancer and performer who creates electronic dance music and layered pop productions. He recently released his debut EP, Yellow, featuring original music that tells the story of coming of age in the digital era.
Acoustic singer-songwriter Bodhi writes intimate songs about life and love. Using his guitar, piano and loop pedal, Bodhi creates a raw and relatable narrative through his unique tone, harmonies and musicianship.
Celeste is a classically-trained pianist from the Greater Shepparton region. She said her love for piano, and the process of learning to play new music comes from understanding the meaning behind each piece.
Further concerts will see members of U Can Dance and GV Academy of Ballet, Greater Shepparton Secondary College VCE dance students, Initial Stages theatre group members, and DJ Malone supported by dancers from Amy Newton Dance Studio performing on November 23 and November 30.
The first Word and Mouth Live concert will be livestreamed from 7 pm on Monday. The performances can be accessed from the Word and Mouth Facebook page or the Riverlinks website at riverlinksvenues.com.au
