Travelling along Shepparton's shared pathway networks, event manager Liz Connick was delighted to see record numbers across all distances on the day.
"It was an overwhelming success, with many coming from far and wide to take part in the events," she said.
Organised by Shepparton Running Club with Ms Connick of Your Project Partner, the event attracted a number of families as well as running clubs from across the state.
"People really love the relaxed, community atmosphere of the day," Ms Connick said.
"The distances accommodate all abilities and ages."
Ms Connick said she received a lot of positive feedback, with many commenting on the picturesque and enjoyable running courses.
"I've had a lot of people come up to me to say thank you and let us know they'll be back next year," she said.
Ms Connick said she hoped to continue the success of the event next year.
She also thanked all sponsors for supporting the event.
"Everyone seemed to have a really good time and it was great to see people achieving their best," she said.
