E-grade side all out for two

By Tyler Maher

Cricket Shepparton's Whitelock Shield E-grade season began yesterday, with an astonishing result highlighting the round of action.

In the clash between Old Students and Shepparton United at Kialla Park Recreation Reserve, just four runs were scored from the bat during the entire match.

The Students batted first, but were routed for just two as United bowlers Henry Jackson (5-0) and Justin Flynn (3-2) ripped through the order.

Flynn was dismissed in the chase for one with scores level, but a wide ball which reached the boundary ended the game after just 11 overs were bowled across the two innings.
