The World Wide Sires Evolution sale will offer Lightning Ridge-CMD Jedi Gigi-IMP-ET, a heifer with a high Genetic Total Performance Index.

She is owned by Declan Patten and Callum Moscript.

Auctioneer Brian Leslie said the lot would represent the highest ever GTPI female to sell in the world.

A total of 34 Holsteins will be offered at the sale on Wednesday, January 18 at 7.30pm.

They will include daughters of royal show winners and state fair champions.

Last year the sale averaged about $5900, with the top-priced lot selling for $15000.

The following sales will be held during International Dairy Week:

Tuesday, January 17: Elite Ayrshire Sale and Red Revolution Sale (Illawarra).

Wednesday, January 18: Jersey Showcase Sale and World Wide Sires Evolution Sale (Holstein).
