Mouths were watering in the Deniliquin Waring Gardens on Saturday morning at the sight of the delicious goodies being offered at the Naponda Farmers’ Market.
Stalls selling fresh produce, fresh baked goods and delectable conserves and nuts lined a tree-shaded path in the gardens, leading up to the ‘food court’ where you could get fresh made curries and egg and bacon rolls.
Also featured at this month’s market were hand-made items from the Deniliquin Sustainability Group, and some fine woodwork items.
The market also offered a chance to pick up a ticket for this year’s South West Music live music calendar events.
Held the second Saturday of each month, proceeds from the Naponda Farmers’ Market are donated to the Deniliquin Hospital.
