A dirty big job well done

Seymour CFA members bring the Centurion Tank at the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk and the Leopard Tank at Rotary Park back to new.

The Seymour Urban Fire Brigade took on a clean up of a different kind recently.

The Leopard Tank at Seymour’s Rotary Park, and the Centurion Tank at the Vietnam Veterans’ Commemorative Walk, were both desperately in need of a good wash.

When approached by John Phoenix, a member of both Seymour RSL and Vietnam Veterans sub-branches, the brigade was pleased to lend a hand to such an unusual venture, thoroughly hosing down the tanks and bringing them back to pristine condition.

The sub-branches would like to thank Seymour Urban Fire Brigade volunteers for their invaluable and enthusiastic assistance.
