School is back and it is ‘all business’ at Mathoura Public School.
The school has welcomed Nyree Taylor as relieving principal during Julie Swec’s extended leave and we wish her well in her new position.
A big welcome has also gone to 11 new Kinder students — Macie, Jaymie, Alla, Sienna, Georgie, Ava, Rory, Jason, Joshua, Jobe and Chad.
It is an exciting time for these youngsters as they begin an important phase in their lives so we wish them all well.
Also receiving a warm welcome are teaching staff members Dimity Roberts, Marnie Skerritt and Jess Snelson.
There has been plenty of excitement in town with the arrival of Archie Daniels.
This young man has created a number of ‘firsts’.
He is the first child of Liam and Gemma.
He is also the first grandchild for Sallie and Allan Daniels, but even more important the first great grandchild for Katie McCormick.
Congratulations to Liam and Gemma who made it all happen, and to everyone else enjoying the flow-on excitement.
