Team Seven was the winner of the new look spring/summer squash competition defeating Team Three in the grand final by eight points.
It was an impressive performance by both sides with Team Three coming from a fourth on the ladder finish just to make the grand final and Team Seven finishing second on the ladder.
The match came down to the overall scores with both sides having two line wins each.
In line four Jessima Munro (Team Three) was narrowly beaten by Georgia Lunn (Team Seven), 69 to 54.
The performance outlined Georgia’s improvement, who notched up her first win over Jessima.
Line three saw Shannon Black (Team Three) defeat Nick Lunn (Team Seven) 53 to 42.
Despite being younger, Nick showed plenty of promise in his match against a tough opponent.
Warwick Steel played under handicap and defeated Nick Lunn, 45 to 34 in line two.
Once again Nick put in a good effort against another tough opponent with Warwick moving up to line one for the next competition that will begin in February.
In the final battle it was Hayden Lunn leading his side to victory defeating acting captain Rhett Armstrong 12 to 27 in line one.
This was a shortened game as Rhett had to leave early due to the harvest.
On the night the line toppers for the season were also awarded.
Line winners were as follows: Line one - Hayden Lunn, line two - Phil Beazley, line three - Shannon Black, line four - Shania Bentley.
