Co-organiser and performer Nicky Pummeroy said the concert and raffle raised $3100 for the two charities, Bendigo Bank Bushfire Disaster Appeal and the Resound Bushire Appeal, which provides instruments for musicians affected by bushfire.
The proceeds will be split evenly between the two charities.
During the 90-minute concert, compered by Shepparton ABC radio's Matt Dowling, audience members enjoyed performances from Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra, Shepparton Brass and Wind, 36 Degrees South choir and soloists Jan Deane, Kat Bristol, Nicky Pummeroy and Phil Oakes.
The concert concluded with a resounding communal performance of I Am Australian followed by afternoon tea in the adjacent Wesley Hall, on Maude St, Shepparton.
