Greater Shepparton City Council has created a survey to give it a better understanding of community members’ thoughts and what they would like to see more of in the future.
Council co-ordinated a number of decorations in Shepparton this year including LED stars, fixtures on light poles at Victoria Park Lake, large baubles at Monash Park, Merry Moos and sleigh, a selfie Santa and happy elves.
Greater Shepparton City Council's community director Kaye Thomson said the feedback obtained would assist the council in planning for this year's decorations including where decorations should be placed and if anything new should be introduced.
“The survey will assist us in ensuring our Christmas decorations are something the entire community can be proud of,” she said.
“I encourage everyone to have their say and let us know what you thought of the decorations and what you would like to see in the 2020 program.”
The survey is now available online on the council’s website and in hard copy, with feedback closing on Friday, February 7.
Hard-copy surveys can be collected from and returned to the council’s Welsford St office, the Shepparton and Mooroopna libraries, Aquamoves, Tatura Newsagency and Murchison Bakery and Tea Rooms.
