A team of dedicated cyclists toured Goulburn Valley Health's oncology unit this week, on their way from Adelaide to Melbourne.

The Melbourne-based Silver Lining Riders embarked on a gruelling 1300 km, 10-day ride to raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
Ride co-founder Clinton Stanaway said he and fellow rider Georgie Herbert came up with the idea after Georgie's mother died from ovarian cancer three years ago.
“She fought the disease for nearly a decade and unfortunately it just got her in the end,” Mr Stanaway said.
He said initially the two of them intended to participate in the ride but soon many friends and family had jumped on board.
Mr Stanaway said they had had a tough journey so far with hot conditions but they were looking forward to finishing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this week.
The riders were treated to a tour of the Peter Copulos Cancer and Wellness Centre and chatted to chemotherapy patients.
The team hopes to raise $150 000 to help fund a research project that aims to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer.
