Wayne Redfern was living in Shepparton on April 4 at about 12.25pm, when he entered a Maude St property drinking a Jim Beam pre-mix can.
After being told the property had a no alcohol policy, the accused began yelling, threatening to punch the woman in the face.
Fearing for her safety, the victim locked herself in her office and called the police.
On April 30 at about 6pm, Redfern was discharged from Goulburn Valley Health's mental health services, where police had dropped him off for treatment.
Observed causing issues within the hospital, security followed the accused as he left.
The security guard observed Redfern breaking one of the car park boom gates and called police.
The accused denied causing damage, claiming he accidentally knocked the boom gate with his suitcase.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Les Oroszvary also told the court the accused was facing further charges from an incident on January 13 this year where he allegedly caused damage to an acquaintance's vehicle.
Defence lawyer Kate Martin said Redfern had been well behaved since moving to Bendigo and was 10 weeks clean from using ice and speed.
Ms Martin said the accused was living in a shelter, had been engaging with Salvo Care services and was keen to be involved in rehabilitation programs in the future.
Magistrate Stella Stuthridge placed Redfern on a good behaviour bond until December 11 next year and encouraged the accused to continue working with services in Bendigo.
