The Australian toymaker behind the Shopkins craze has cracked the Forbes list of world billionaires.

The Australian toymaker behind the Shopkins craze has cracked into the Forbes list of world billionaires.

Forbes says Manny Stul is worth $US1.4 billion, making him the world's 1,468th richest person and a long, long way down the list from Microsoft founder Bill Gates who has again clinched the top spot with a fortune of $US86 billion.

There are 33 Aussies on the list, with Gina Rinehart in top spot with $US15 billion to her name, followed by property magnate Harry Triguboff whose fortune stands at $US8.5 billion and iron ore miner Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest with $US5.7 billion.
