The owner of The Big Group said she had thoroughly enjoyed her stay in Shepparton, also speaking at a GV BRaIN event on Wednesday night.
She said her new book Celebrate was 13 chapters filled with different holidays over the course of the year.
“I've included some religious holidays as well,” she said.
“It's about showing people it's easy to create your own traditions.”
Chyka said it was important to make an effort to keep these gatherings alive.
Covering occasions as diverse as Chinese New Year, Eid, Jewish New Year, Mother's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve and Easter, Chyka shows readers how themed entertaining is done with minimum hassle and at low cost, independent of the location — all in her signature, accessible style.
The release is the second book from the former Real Housewives of Melbourne star who wrote her first book in 2018 — Home; seasonal inspiration for a life of style — an inspirational manual for home-making, entertaining, styling and crafting.
Chyka also made sure to check out Shepparton's shopping hot spots, picking up a beautiful new jacket.
She complimented the region and thanked everyone for being so welcoming during her stay.
