As part of the Creative Learning Partnerships Program, schools in northern Victoria can apply for up to $10 000 for a 20-day project with an individual creative professional or $35 000 for a longer residency with a creative organisation.
The grant will allow schools to partner with leading artists, writers, performers, designers and creative organisations next year.
The creatives will work with students and teachers to present a project.
Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp said: "Creative Learning Partnerships presents a terrific opportunity for local schools to enliven curriculum and strengthen the learning experience for students with the help of some of Victoria’s best creative professionals".
Schools are encouraged to consider partnerships exploring any creative discipline, with all projects in line with the school’s curriculum.
The Creative Learning Partnerships program is a joint initiative between the Department of Education and Training and Creative Victoria.
Applications close at 5 pm on Thursday, September 19. Project activity must start after April 14, 2020 (term two), and can occur at any time in terms two, three or four.
