A caravan was destroyed by fire in Logan Crt, Shepparton this morning.
District 22 duty officer Travis Harris said three Shepparton Country Fire Authority fire trucks attended the scene at 2.30am but the caravan was fully engulfed.
Crews managed to extinguish the blaze within 10 minutes.
Mr Harris said a person living in the caravan at the time was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
He said it was a reminder for the region to take caution especially in winter.
“This is a timely reminder for everyone to take extra care and precaution with their home fire safety,” Mr Harris said.
