Police, CFA, Shepparton Search and Rescue and State Emergency Service personnel were this morning on the scene of a truck rollover in Murchison.
It is believed a truck rolled off the bridge as you enter the town and has landed in the Goulburn River below.
The driver has escaped and is currently being treated by paramedics at the scene.
An ambulance helicopter has arrived on the scene and it is believed the driver will be flown to hospital.
The bridge is currently blocked to traffic at both ends and is believed to remain blocked for most of the day.
A large amount of debris is on the bridge and the truck has lost its load down the river's edge.
The truck has come to a rest at the base of the river.
