More than just a festival, Converge brings together food, culture and performances from Greater Shepparton’s Aboriginal and multicultural communities.
On at Victoria Park Lake, residents can expect an evening of cultural celebration with music, movement, colour, art and traditional cuisines from all corners of the globes.
Residents will have the chance to participate in interactive art and cultural workshop activities, or can enjoy a relaxing evening in the outdoor dining area filled with food trucks and local businesses serving flavoursome cuisine.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Kim O’Keeffe said the festival was the perfect setting for an evening of music, fun and food, encouraging everyone to come along to celebrate the diversity of our community.
‘‘There will definitely be something for everyone at Converge on the Goulburn,’’ she said.
‘‘In celebrating the diversity that comprises Greater Shepparton, Converge on the Goulburn is the perfect way for you and your family to learn more about and experience the values, rituals and traditions of the many cultures that call Greater Shepparton home.’’
