With guests from as far afield as Portland and Bendigo to Mulwala and Albury, Love + Light Wedding Festival put Shepparton on the map as a bridal destination.
More than 50 of the region’s most creative producers and suppliers displayed their wares at the interactive event.
From a floral workshop, a styling masterclass and a runway show with local dress shops, menswear and lingerie, there was something for every bride and groom.
Event director Georgia James said she was delighted with the number of people through the door.
‘‘We exceeded our expectations of quality attendees and how we have been welcomed to Shepparton with open arms,’’ Ms James said.
The event was presented by bride and groom where it launched its brand new magazine, which is available in participating newsagents from today.
bride and groom editor Jessica Ball said this edition was jam packed with real local weddings, planning advice and fashion features.
‘‘We’ve had a facelift, but you’ll still find the same great local content you’ve grown to expect,’’ Ms Ball said.
‘‘It’s all about showing people what’s possible in the Goulburn Valley.’’
