The third convention, hosted by the Goulburn Valley Gamers Guild, had more than 160 people putting their skills to the test across the three-day event.
With more than 200 different card and board games for attendees to choose from, Goulburn Valley Gamers Guild director Giles Pritchard said there were many of the old favourites as well as newly designed games.
‘‘They’re not your usual board and card games, as in the sort of the thing you’d see in Big W and Target or anything like that, they’re very much a part of what we call the hobby market, which is a lot bigger than a lot of people might otherwise think if you weren’t aware of it,’’ he said.
Mr Pritchard said as part of the ShepparCon convention, gamers had the opportunity to take part in a number of tournaments and sub-events across the weekend.
He said the weekend had been a great success and he was thrilled to see many new faces among this year’s ShepparCon crowds.
