Shepparton and Seymour police members executed the first of three drug search warrants at a property in north Shepparton about 7.30 am, followed by additional properties in south Shepparton and Mooroopna later that day.
Sergeant Jason Frost said the three homes contained a large number of plants.
“At those addresses we’ve located sophisticated cannabis-growing crop houses and we’ve seen hundreds of cannabis plants - in excess of 700 plants," he said.
Sgt Frost was unable to confirm who notified the police of the illegal activity and said as of yesterday afternoon that no-one had been arrested as a result of the raids.
He said police were unsure if the properties were connected in any way.
“Investigations are still continuing as to whether the three houses are considered to be linked," Sgt Frost said.
