Shepparton’s talented soccer players showed they could match it with the best in the state at the Victorian Junior Soccer Country Championships.

Hosted across the weekend on the McEwen Reserve pitches, 1000 players pulled on their boots while an additional 2000 coaches, staff and family members also made their way to town.

Shepparton’s under-11, under-12 and under-14 boys’ sides made it all the way through to the decider before losing against strong Geelong outfits.
