Small businesses in the Shepparton area can access information about growing and running their business at an upcoming workshop.
Run by the state government, more than 430 Small Business Victoria workshops were organised across the state last year with more than 4800 participants.
State Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp said the workshops provided a valuable opportunity for business owners and operators to get reliable and affordable advice from the experts without having to travel long distances.
‘‘Whether you’re thinking of starting a business, looking for guidance with an existing business or wanting to expand, I encourage all Shepparton locals to take advantage of this great program,’’ Mr Gepp said.
All Small Business Victoria Workshops are delivered by experienced private sector business specialists skilled in developing and managing small businesses.
Small Business Victoria partners with more than 50 host organisations to deliver the affordable events, with this workshop hosted by Greater Shepparton City Council.
The Andrews Government’s ‘‘Effective record keeping: How to get on top of paperwork short workshop’’ will be at the Aussie Hotel, 73 Fryers St, Shepparton at 6pm on Wednesday, June 20.
