Shepparton truck involved in road rage incident

Victoria Police is investigating an alleged road rage incident that occurred in Port Melbourne this morning.

A Fred’s Interstate Transport truck based in Shepparton allegedly clipped the side of a van travelling south on the Bolte Bridge just after 8am according to a police statement.

The occupants of the van followed the truck to Inglist Street, Port Melbourne where they then used a metal bar to attack the truck, damaging its windscreen.

A 31-year-old Roxburgh Park man was interviewed by police and released pending further inquiries.

No injuries were reported.
